We're all acquainted with the maxim: "avoidance is superior to fix." That is valid from various perspectives. The issue with the idiom above is that the vast majority just decide to see one piece of it. That is the part that claims counteraction is better. What we don't see is that avoidance isn't the lone alternative. There will be times while getting a fix will be a need. That doesn't make it an awful case – except if you didn't plan for it.
