Tech Tanasarnsopaporn
Student, materials engineer, and Economist in Pennsylvania
Hey there, I’m Tech. I’m studying materials engineering and economics at Lehigh University currently conducting research on laser sintering, polymer nanocomposites and business IPOs. I also loves making productivity tools to facilitate his daily life. When I am not solving technical problems, I am an avid fingerstyle guitarist and a painter. I loves cooking.
I also aspires to contribute to economic equality, an issue he hoped to tackle since he was young. While working with Hong Kong coastal communities on marine rehabilitation and with Cambodian rural communities on labor trafficking, I learned that the accessibility to technology is essential to socio-economic development. To continue his effort in Bethlehem, I helped launch Lehigh Makerspace to give students and local communities access to the tools and materials needed to materialize their ideas, and spearheaded Lehigh Startup Fair, a showcase for local startups with internship opportunities for students bridging the dreams of the community and the talents from the university.
