Ted and the first rate team he's built at Atlantic excel in acquiring assets backed by commercial real estate and at developing creative business strategies to maximize each asset's value. Ted West has also built an impressive portfolio of commercial real estate. One of Ted's development projects breathed new life into Portland's then-dormant Bayside neighborhood, earning Ted the Economic Development Achievement award from the Downtown Portland Corporation and stimulating a wave of economic growth for the neighborhood that continues to this date. Ted has also developed major projects in North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, California, and Nevada.

An avid basketball lover, Ted West became an owner of the Maine Red Claws (the NBA G League affiliate of the Boston Celtics) in 2006. Ted and his team are also firm believers in giving back, having supported Strive as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine.
