Education is a great tool for social mobility, but requires access in order for it to be have great impact across all of society. Public universities provide much of that access at lower cost than private colleges, but neither are able to meet the tremendous need that currently exists. Online courses can potentially fill a large portion of that gap for the rest of society and is adaptable enough to evolve along with the needs of society.
