Ted Cope

Ted is retired from the City of Durham and from the NCARNG. Marcia is retired from Durham Public Schools. The couple reside in Timberlake.

Ted and Marcia met in 1969 while in high school and married shortly after graduating. They have two daughters and four grandchildren who current- ly live in Texas. One lives in the Dallas area where her husband is employed with the Seven Eleven Corporation. The other lives in Wichita Falls where her husband is stationed at Shepard AFB.

Ted accepted Christ in 1974 while serving with the USAF in Korea. Marcia was his first convert.

The couple joined WBC in 1998. Since that time Ted has served three terms as deacon and as Chapter President of the Westwood Chapter of Carolina Faith Riders. Ted is co-manager of the Beulah Association NCBM Disaster Response Unit. Marcia serves in the kitchen ministry and has pre- viously served in the Apples of Gold ministry.
