As a South Florida local whose upbringing was split between Miami and Haiti, Ted graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida with a concentration in Business Administration and Legal Studies. At NSU Ted was President of his Fraternity and co-founded the Annual Sigma Sigma Stroll-Off fundraiser to support the Autism Society of Broward County, which has now become one of NSU's largest continued philanthropic event. Following his graduation, Ted went on to be the President of NSU's Broward Alumni Chapter for two years devoting his time to recruiting, fostering alumni relations, developing new communities, and planning events.
During a seven-year practical period, Ted focused on the business aspect of his dual degree and worked as a licensed Financial Specialist, a Licensed Banker at Regions Bank, and Business Analyst. Ted eventually realized his true passion was in law and matriculated to the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2021.
Ted Delcima now represents clients in commercial litigation matters as well as, White Collar Criminal Defense. His experience includes matters involving contract disputes, foreclosures, and fraud. With his past experience, Ted brings a business perspective to his legal practice in both a team-oriented and self-directed environment.
Ted is fluent in Haitian Creole and proficient in French.
