Teddy Teece is the Managing Partner of Kea Capital Partners (KCP), an investment firm that connects international capital with New Zealand’s light industrial sector. His career has spanned entrepreneurship, investing, philanthropy, finance, technology, executive coaching, and real estate. His broader approach has focused on finding practical opportunities that create financial value while supporting purpose and long-term responsibility.

Teddy's family ties to New Zealand extend across five generations, and his early life across two hemispheres and coasts helped shape an international perspective. In his current work, he supports long-term, lifestyle-oriented investors interested in financial returns while also building meaningful economic, environmental, and infrastructure connections to New Zealand.

As Founder and Managing Partner of KCP, he leads acquisition strategies across New Zealand’s “golden triangle,” with a focus on light industrial businesses. The firm focuses on established companies that contribute to the country’s infrastructure. He also works with families and investors seeking residency and opportunities to contribute to the local economy.

During his first year in Wharton’s Executive MBA program, Teddy developed the firm’s business plan and investment thesis. The approach combines private equity and search fund methods with local partnerships, community events, and philanthropic opportunities. Earlier, he helped build an investment bank that processed eight- and nine-figure transactions. He also co-founded a marketplace for unique experiences. He later helped develop a family business consulting service for executives, business families, and next-generation leaders across the United States, the Middle East, and New Zealand.

Outside his investment work, Teddy has developed a nonprofit and executive retreat destination near Boulder, Colorado, focused on connection, reflection, wellness, and community. He has supported Navy SEAL families since 2017 and helped raise six- and seven-figure sums for charitable causes.

Teddy Teece is also an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He continues to work with a New Zealand-based team while supporting charitable organizations, working the land, writing, drumming, and pursuing long-term efforts related to service, mental health, resilience, and community.
