Worked on Wall Street 10+ years then built a nationwide mortgage banking company with 300+ employees. Served as my state's mortgage association President and on the Board for 4 years. As such, was in D.C. 4-6 times per year in meetings where I saw / heard things. When meltdown occurred, started doing what turned into 2 years of research, then wrote my book naming all the people and their actions that directly led to the Financial Crisis. Barack Obama was a key player in causing the tsunami of subprime mortgages that directly and incontrovertibly caused the meltdown. It was NOT "fat cat bankers, greedy Wall Streeters and the failed policies of the previous administration." It WAS unmistakably caused by the "Affordable Housing" ideological manipulation of the banks, Wall Street and the mortgage banking rules and guidelines, forcing those institutions to make loans that predictably would collapse the system.
