Ted Macaluso

Ted Macaluso is the author of the “Artist Adventures” books for children. His first, "Vincent, Theo and the Fox," is an adventure story about Vincent van Gogh (picture book/early reader for ages 3 – 8). His second, "The Path Through the Paintings," is an adventure illustrated by Albert Bierstadt, Paul Cezanne, Albrecht Durer, and twelve other famous artists (illustrated chapter book for ages 6 – 9, forthcoming). The books weave the paintings of the artists into exciting stories that engage each child’s imagination. Ted was an accomplished research writer and editor of child nutrition studies before turning full time to fiction writing. At age 3 his mother “dragged him” to the first of many museums. He has had a deep love affair with art ever since. He lives in Reston, VA with his wife, son, and dog.
