Hi!

I'm Teemu Kide; a musician, workshop artist, a human being.

I love improvising in all of its meanings - and especially, how to make people relax in order to improvise.

It is actually possible to create a surprisingly fascinating improvised music by not depending on musical knowledge, but becoming one with music instead. What we need is to settle down, get a stable pulse, use nice chords only that seems to lead nowhere, and be there for at least 30 minutes.

As a part of my doctoral studies I created a practical method for it. I call it the Floating Impro (In Finnish: "Kelluntamusiikki"). I uploaded few mp3 samples of music made via Floating Impro method, listen to them here:
