Tegan Studsor
Director in Perth, Australia
🦘Tegan was born in Collie, a small coal-mining town in Western Australia. From a young age, she developed a strong work ethic and a passion for bringing people together—qualities that would shape her future in business. Her career began in hospitality and event management, handling everything from corporate conferences and weddings to large-scale outdoor festivals, where she first encountered the world of traffic management.
🧭 Seeking a new challenge, Tegan took a break from the events industry and embraced an opportunity to work on a million-acre cattle station for the Indigenous Land Corporation in the Kimberley region of WA. This experience deepened her appreciation for the remote outback, Indigenous culture, and the importance of people and relationships.
✍️ In 2006, Tegan’s sister, Erin, encouraged her to return home and join her newly founded business, Traffic Force. Taking a leap of faith, the sisters became business partners, working from a small garage. Within 12 months, they had secured their first $1 million roadworks construction contract. Their dedication and vision propelled the company’s rapid growth, expanding into multiple regions and offices across Western Australia.
👨🏻💻 Nearly two decades later, Traffic Force has grown into a leading traffic management provider with a team of 150 spanning local and international operations. Recognising the need for skilled professionals in the industry, Tegan also co-founded AusQ Training, a specialist training provider for the construction and mining sectors, which has been instrumental in elevating industry standards across WA.
❤️ Beyond business, Tegan is a passionate advocate for road safety and serves as a committee member for Heart Hub South West, working to support those impacted by road trauma and improve awareness and education around safe driving practices. Additionally, she contributes to various Main Roads WA advisory groups, helping drive policy changes to improve road construction safety standards.
📺 Her leadership and contributions to the construction and traffic management industries have made her a respected figure in the field, driving change and creating opportunities for women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
🤗 On a personal note, Tegan is a devoted mother to her young daughter, Evie, and lives with her long-term partner on an avocado and cattle farm in the South West of WA.
