I currently live and work in LA: a former New Yorker born and raised in Ethiopia, the sunshine state was calling me so I moved to the Bay before landing in SoCal. I’m a real Jack-of-all trades - I enjoy learning, exploring and growing professionally and personally.

I've worked in the Tech industry since 2006. My main focus right now, is in recruitment and strategy development. I'm fueled by a passion for becoming a networking matchmaker with businesses, a champion for belonging and inclusion coupled with a zeal for business development and community advocacy. Giving back has always been in my DNA and hopefully will be my legacy and I'm actively involved in the community.

Personally, I lend myself to writing, where my essay has been published in the book entitled Where Did Our Love Go? By Gil Robertson lending a critical editorial voice on love and the black LGBT image and culture.

I also have a 1 yr old son and enjoy spending time with my wife of 17 years - while fulfilling my other passions as a licensed massage therapist, being a vacationista, blogging, playing tennis, cooking, painting, and most recently taking up photography and just for fun I am completing programming courses with Code Academy - I have no idea what I've gotten myself into.
