Tejpal Bedi

Tejpal S Bedi is an ICT entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the Telecommunication and ICT business. He has a Degree in Business Studies from the University of Wales, UK and a MBA from Leicester University UK. Started his career in Kenya in The Telecommunications Sector by starting an ISP called Interconnect in 1997 which then merged with Internet Solutions (www.is.co.ke) part of Dimension Data (www.didata.co.za) South Africa in 2007 to form Internet Solutions Kenya transforming the start up to a global player in the industry. He was responsible for the strategic growth, direction and of the company since its inception in East Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. In early 2010 sold his shares to Dimension Data and stepped down as the CEO of Internet Solutions East Africa and started a business called Synergy Group Africa that has businesses in Training, consulting and BPO. One of its businesses is called Cambridge Africa (www. cambrdigeafrica.com) that is in ICT /BPO training, Consulting and does IT services Management providing guidance and training ITIL, ITIL 20000 etc.

He is also the Chairman of Kenya IT and Outsourcing Society, providing policy and direction within the industry and government.(www.kitosafrica.com). Council member of Karatina University College (Part of MoiUniversity ,www.mu.ac.ke). Director at Kenya Tourist Corporation (www.ktdc.co.ke).
