I volunteer my time and energy with the Young Adult Committee of the African American Community Health Advisory Committee, BASIC (Bowdoin Alumni Schools and Interviewing Committee) , POCIS of Northern California (People of Color in Independent Schools) and most recently as the San Francisco Bay Co-Chair of The Princess Project 2011. But more importantly, I'm a soccer, cross-country, track & field, natural pageant (no, not toddlers and tiaras!) cheering mom of a spunky, intelligent daughter that keeps me grounded.
