History of Telford
It is named after structural designer Thomas Telford, who designed numerous street and rail extends in Shropshire. The town was assembled during the 1960s and 1970s as another town on already mechanical and farming area and more modest towns. Like other arranged towns of the time, Telford was made from the consolidation of different settlements and towns, most remarkably the towns of Wellington, Oakengates, Madeley and Dawley. A significant number of the New Town's fresher occupants were initially from Birmingham or Wolverhampton.

Blists Hill Victorian Town is an outside exhibition hall based on a previous mechanical complex situated in the Madeley territory of Telford, Shropshire, England. The historical center endeavors to reproduce the sights, sounds and scents of a Victorian Shropshire town in the late nineteenth and mid twentieth hundreds of years. It is one of ten galleries worked by the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Initially Blists Hill was a modern area comprising of a block and tile works, impact heaters and coal, iron and fire mud mines. The gallery was opened in 1973 and has been developing from that point forward.
