Temitope Isaac Olowolafe has headed Toronto’s Dream Maker Realty since establishing this multi-faceted and vertically integrated real estate firm in 2003. At the time, he was just 22 years old and in his second year as an economics student at the University of Toronto. Under Temitope Isaac Olowolafe’s strategic management, Dream Maker Realty has grown far beyond its initial field of real estate investment. In addition to buying, selling, managing, and insuring properties, it funds tech entrepreneurs through the Dream Maker Ventures subsidiary and promotes both financial literacy and economic inclusion through the Dream Maker Legacy Foundation.

Mr. Olowolafe’s other philanthropic endeavors include funding an African Studies scholarship at his alma mater and donating over $100,000 to benefit student entrepreneurs at Ryerson University. He also sits on the Housing Committee of the BlackNorth Initiative and supports the SickKids Foundation. As the author of a February 2021 article in Canada’s Financial Post, he shared his belief in entrepreneurship and homeownership as essential components of the fight against anti-Black racism.
