Research Development and Project Management in united kingdom
I am a Biomedical Engineer, R&D Scientist, and Project Manager with a multidisciplinary background spanning biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology innovation. I am driven to explore biomaterials and skin health technologies that are both effective and sustainable to improve health outcomes and patient quality of life.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, which laid the foundation for my interest in molecular interactions, formulation chemistry, and biological systems. In 2013, I started my career in pharmaceutical product management, where I worked with highly specialised pharmaceutical products, ensuring a robust territorial coverage, clinical education and customer satisfaction.
In 2019, I moved into medical technology where I worked extensively across advanced wound care, arthroplasty, and arthroscopy product lines, managing clinical technologies that evidently improved patient's outcomes with products such as Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, Silicone-based Scar Treatment, Enzyme-based Wound Care Products, Hydrogels, Joint Replacement Implants e.t.c.
My growing curiosity for the science behind materials and tissue regeneration inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, where my research explored stimuli-responsive wound dressing materials for optimal wound healing. Building on this foundation, I am now resuming a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on the development of nouveau biomaterials and electrotherapeutic systems for clinical and cosmetic applications, exploring how engineered materials can transform the way we treat and manage diseases.
As the Founder and R&D Lead at Hagiazo Biotech Ltd, I apply this scientific and engineering expertise to the development of biocosmetics and fragrance innovations. Our work bridges biotechnology and beauty, creating eco-friendly, vegan, and clinically inspired formulations that align with our commitment to safety, efficacy, and environmental responsibility.
Beyond the lab, I actively contribute to the engineering and innovation community as a Volunteer Engineer and Case Manager with REMAP, where I design and manage custom assistive devices that enhance daily living for individuals with disabilities. I also support STEM mentorship, leadership and diversity initiatives through AFBE-UK, helping to inspire and equip the next generation of engineers and scientists.
At the heart of all I do lies a single vision to translate scientific research into purposeful, people-centred innovation. Whether developing biomaterials for clinical use or formulating sustainable skincare solutions.
