Today, the Temple of Literature retains much of its original architectural layout, with restorations made to repair damages caused by wars, closely resembling its initial design.

One of its most iconic structures, the Khuê Văn Các (Constellation of Literature Pavilion), has been chosen as the symbol of Hanoi. This highlights the significance and cultural importance of this historical site, not only to Hanoi but also to the Vietnamese nation as a whole.
