The Business side of me...

I have always had a creative mind and a passion for providing a “face lift” to just about anything, to breathe new life into old, tired pieces. I can see the potential in whatever comes my way. When I first began putting this creative process to practical use, I did so for my own home and my own purposes, never dreaming that one day I would be able to parlay this “hobby” into a business. However, when I began using barn wood to create, I slowly expanded the workshop and began to garner attention from others who had seen my work.

I started slowly, placing a few items here and there in a local antique store and planning to build and sell my pieces only part time while I worked another job full-time. However, the pieces sold so well that after a few months, and following injuries sustained in a car accident, I left my full-time job and now dedicate all of my time to creating my unique pieces and growing the business. I get to do what I love and my customers can enjoy one of a kind pieces made just for them. Check us out today and see what I can build for you.

And on the personal side....

I am a mother of 3 teenage daughters (16, 17, & 18)! They keep me on my toes, well more like on the edge of my seat! It is a new adventure everyday…LITERALLY! I am a small town girl with HUGE dreams! I graduated from college in 2011, earning an A.S. degree in Medical Assisting. Wow, that was a challenge! (Note to self…..Should have listened to my parents and went to college after high school!) Nothing like trying to teach you brain to remember such “BIG” words & BIGGER #’s for a late 30 something Mom with those 3 girls I have!! Nothing like being called “MOM” at school too!

In my spare time (Ha Ha!) I LOVE hunting for new treasures on my family’s ranches, which is where I acquired all of my fabulous barn wood!

Anything is possible with a trip “Up the Old Barn Road!”
