Tene Manning

Tene Manning is a San Jose, CA native. Tene received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Communications from Hampton University and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
A former Marketing and Project Management professional specializing in Small Business Development for 13 years, Tene currently works as a Marketing and Entrepreneurship Educator and Marketing Cluster Coach for Gwinnett County Public Schools. Tene teaches Marketing Principles, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management at the secondary education level and incorporates the DECA (deca.org) and Empowered (teachempowered.org) co-curricular programs into her Marketing Pathway program. As an Empowered Ambassador (teachempowered.org), Tene helps to facilitate and host Professional Development workshops in-person and online.
Additionally, Tene is currently working to achieve the American Marketing Association (AMA) Industry Certification for her program and working on her combined Digital Marketing and AMA Professional Certified Marketer Certification.
