Robert "Bob" Archer
Wisconsin United States
My name is Robert "Bob" Archer. I am an Interior Designer and Professional Musician living in the Fox River Valley of Northeastern Wisconsin. I have a true passion for bringing beauty into the lives of everyone that I meet. Be it through creating beautiful environments to live and work in or gorgeous environments of music and song I love using my gifts to benefit others. I have been an Interior Designer for over 30 years and developed my work into a business called Concepts in Style! I design homes and/or offices from the blueprints to the finished product. I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of people over the years and being able to develop great friendships in the process. I believe my clients are the designers right along with me and together we create the perfect spaces to enhance and enrich their lives. I have recently started VEW Steampunk Designs creating jewelry and accessories in the Steampunk genre. Check out my creations at my Etsy Shop www.vewsteampunkdesigns.etsy.com and also find me on FaceBook!! With my work in the church I have also had the opportunity to develop my visions for liturgical design bringing new and innovative design concepts for numerous congregations throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. With the musical side of my life I have had the great honor and privilege of working and performing with some of the best ensembles in the country! I have been on stage with the Houston Grand Opera, Florentine Opera of Wisconsin, Great Lakes Opera Company, The Milwaukee Opera, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and many regional and local musical and theater groups. I have a passion for instrumental music and have developed a strong repertoire in piano, organ, flute, rhythm and native american flute. I am also proficient in guitar, mandolin, dulcimer and other stringed instruments. I love Opera, Broadway, Big Band, Classical and Ballad vocal styles along with a full range of Christian music. I have done many one-man shows including presentations of "Phantom of the Opera", Broadway reviews and the stylings of Sinatra, Bennett, Crosby and Como. My musical business division, The Tenor of Things, gives me an outlet for offering both vocal, keyboard and instrumental musical settings for any occasion. I have also worked extensively with many church communities over the last 25 years, helping congregations to develop music programs to enrich and enhance the spiritual lives of their parishioners.
