Music looked, sounded and felt like magic as long as I could hear. I remember as a six-year-old kid in front of my small melodica, beckoning me to discover a place where notes and rhythms could speak far louder than words. That little instrument elicited a fascination to which my life was to be shaped.

Inspired by so many and so diverse sounds as I was growing up. From Avicii's emotive melodies to Skrillex's high energy bass drops, to Hans Zimmer's cinematic compositions, to Bob Marley's endless rims - these guys were all just too much. With each artist, I was able to see music as an infinite space, where there are no boundaries, no genre, no emotion, no boundaries on creativity.

When I was 16, I knew I wanted to build my own musical landscapes. It was headfirst into music production with a laptop and a burning desire to produce electronic sound. And I loved every drum machine, synthesizer, MIDI instruments because each of those pieces of gear opened more doors for me to hear and to feel this information, and to be able to express my ideas. I wasn’t looking at being put into a single box—just wanted to be able to explore everything, from lush ambient textures to heart thumping dance tracks.

It then happened in 2015 which was when I saw Skrillex perform live at Ultra Music Festival. I had the energy. I had the crowd’s response. I had the sheer power of the music. I found out then that I didn’t want to make tracks as a producer only, but also as a DJ so I could have the thrill of sharing it with people. Tensho, a stage name that translates to be your quest to fly high on every beat, was when that happened.

It’s taken years to learn and experiment and find my voice and on July 8, 2023 I released my debut track, 'Inner Peace.' It was appropriate, the title of the journey I had been on, and the seemingly calm that descends from realizing your true passion. I released my first full album, ‘Dreamscapes' on August 18, 2024, celebrating a world of sound, imagination, and stories that invites listeners to travel through A world of sound.

I always like to push boundaries, I don't like to be stuck in that one box either saying, 'Oh, you're edm producer.' Whether it's a slow ambient composition for late-night reflection or a high-energy track meant to ignite a dance floor, my goal remains the same: We do attempt to find moments of connection, inspiration and escape... via music.
