Jigme Tenzin

Jigme Tenzin is a Chhukha native growing up in the DGPC-CHP Colony, Bhutan. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 2010 from Muthayammal College of Arts and Science, India.

Jigme Tenzin is passionate about empowering youths and motivated people alike in Bhutan to become entrepreneur and improving their business profitability through Resource Efficiency (RE) approach to achieve sustainable growth.

He leads the team at Green City Services (an organization he co-founded in 2014) and Housing.bt (co-founded in 2016). The office is located in Thimphu TechPark, Babesa, Thimphu,Bhutan. He has been actively engaged for over 5 years facilitating entrepreneurship courses to aspirant entrepreneurs at Institute for Management Studies. He served as a Certified Local Consultant for Switch Asia Programme funded by EU for over two years( Oct 2012-May, 2015) providing RE and Cleaner Production (CP) consulting service to a number of SMEs in Bhutan. Thus, he brings to Green City Services a good understanding and knowledge on youth unemployment issues and challenges and proposes entrepreneurship with incorporation of RE as a sustainable solution to this pressing concern. In 2016 Mr. Jigme Tenzin has facilitated over 4 training courses organized by Ministry of Labor and Human Resources and Thimphu TechPark along with providing mentorship and business consulting service to many budding entrepreneurs.
