Teodora Christati

Hi, my name is Teodora and I am currently a student at Biola University. I am majoring in Sociology and have an emphasis in Social Work. In addition, I am graduating with a Minor in Biblical Studies because I am graduating from Biola University, which is located in La Mirada, CA. I aspire to be a Social Worker one day and will achieve that by going to Graduate School and attaining my Master's Degree in Social Worker (MSW).

Some of my passions include people, fitness, hiking, surfing, and reading. Furthermore, I greatly enjoy traveling and my biggest passion is to travel anywhere and everywhere. I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to the United States in 2003 when my family received Green Cards from the Green Card Lottery following the Immigration Act of 1990. Another name for it is the Diversity Immigrant Visa and it is extremely difficult to become a recipient of this visa. Very few are given out each year, but it does grant the recipients the opportunity to apply for citizenship after living in the United States for 5 years. Luckily, I am able to say that I have dual citizenship now and love living in California.
