Tequila Chan
Tequila Chan was graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Design (Visual Communication), and Master Science of Multimedia and Entertainment Technology. He worked with several local multimedia companies in developing web site, edutainment and e-commerce applications. Later on, he joined Agence France Presse, one of the third biggest news agencies around the world. As the first Multimedia Designer in this global agency, he was focus on the development of multimedia in news reporting and Internet application. Since 2003, he established his design Company, Tequila Design Co. & Posture Interactive Limited, and also be involved in design education area. As a visiting lecturer in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University – School of Design and various design schools. As Course Director in Multimedia Design in CO1 Design School As Associate Professor in Shantou University – Cheung Kong School of Art & Design – Digital Media Design. Now, he is visiting assistant Professor in PolyU School of Design. His current focus study areas are included: Interface design, Interactive Art, game design, edutainment, and design education. He has gained the following honors: HKDA Scholarship, VTech-soft Multimedia Design Award, i-Cable Millennium Music Video Competition golden prize, Nokia Java Mobile Game Competition golden prize, The 2nd Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Excellence Awards (The Best Mobile Entertainment Software), Collected exhibit works of The 8th International Poster Triennial in Toyama.
