Tercilia Bastos Maya
I was born in Brazil on April 28th of 1972, in a town called Pomerode in the State of Santa Catarina, Brasil. I moved to Rio de Janeiro when I was 4 years old, because of my father's work at the Jornal do Brasil, he was the Editor-Chief.
When I was 14 years old, starting high school, I went to Israel to study and live in a closed religious school in the city of Haifa called Yemin Orde, in the Mountains of Carmel. After concluding high school, I joined the military. I started my service on January 3rd of 1991 a few weeks prior to the beginning of the 1991 Golf War, I went through an intensive training in "Mahane 80" during one month and after that I served in a base in Atlit, Haifa. After concluding the army I moved to Eilat, in the south between Jordan and Egypt. I lived there for 2 years, until 1994, I worked in a hotel and after saving a little bit of money I moved to the United States to go to college. I lived in the United States until 2009, during these years I graduated college and got married to a Mexican native, I have two children, Abigail 9 years old and Aaron 5 years old, both born in South Carolina. I moved to Mexico with my family in July of 2009, and in lived there until October 2012, my husband opened a lasertag business in Uruapan, Michoacan.
We currently live in Timbó, Santa Catarina, Brasil.
