Terence Palmer is a UK based field service engineer with many years experience. Working across a broad range of industries from Contract Reasearch through Digital Print and now working in high tech Healthcare.

Currently living in UK, my interests range from DIY to Technology. I am also interested in travel and food.

Terry's main area's of experience include approximately ten years employed in Industrial Electronics Research, Test, Development and Certification to National and International Standards often involving Final Certification of Equipment for use in Potentially Explosive Environments on behalf of the British Approvals Service for the Safe use of Electrical Equipment in Flammable Atmospheres (BASEEFA), and a similar period working for a number of companies (and Self Employed) working in many areas related to Digital Print.

More recently, over the last sixteen years Terence Palmer has been primarily involved in the Installation, Maintenance and On-site repair of Highly Complex Medical Scanning Systems, particularly relating to Nuclear Medicine - now known as Advanced Molecular Imaging - comprising both SPECT (Single Photon Emission Tomography) and PET (Positron Emission Tomography) together with Hybrid versions of these systems also utilising CT (Computed Tomography) as well.

Branching across all these disciplines Terence Palmer has also gained experience and is comfortable in working with Computer Systems generally, Networks, DICOM and PACS.
