I've learned through it all is that praying and sharing with other believers is so important!

From childhood through my teen years I was blessed with the opportunity to explore religion on my own to a certain point. My Father was raised in a Pentecostal household; my Mom was raise in a Southern Baptist household with only a Mother to raise 5 children alone. And by God's grace on a December night in 1962 God joined my parents and they were wed for 23 yrs. before the Lord took my Dad. As an only child I have attended both Southern Baptist Churches and Pentecostal Churches as a teen and through my forties, I dearly love and have been blessed by both over the years, but I have loved my Pentecostal experiences in recent years.Which it isn't the church you attend that concerns God's heart about his children it's that we love and trust him with all aspects of our lives. Until he comes prayer and the Bible are his roadmaps to true happiness for his people.

As a young adult I learned that life can throw us tough curve balls at 18 and 1/2 I had breast Cancer for the first time. Just trying to figure out my future, and tackling Cancer issues. By faith, and not by sight, God brought me through it. I started Nursing school, and Cancer treatments, all in the same 2 weeks, while raising 2 kids with a very unsupportive mate. I prayed to God for guidance to get out and make a better home for my kids, they and I deserved better I knew. I just did not have a clue how to go about it. on my own.

The next morning me and my kids woke up to my Dad and Mom ringing the door bell telling me to pack me and my kids up and load the stuff on my Dad's truck. We were going home with them till I finished that semester and could figure out better arrangements. Little did I know that would be till my Dad died. I was part Nurse, part daughter, part care giver, and part helper to Mom and my Grandmother who also lived there. Eleven weeks after Dad died I lost my son to my Mother-in- law being drunk at the wheel . Six weeks later I lost my daughter to a massive heart attack at the age of 16. Over the last 30 years I've suffered many loss' and other Cancer issues like Liver and Carcinoidial Cancers. I dealt with for the last 8 years . But by God's grace and good Duke doctor's I am still here....

We must show God's love through all life's struggles and trials. If the Devil brought us to the trial God surely will bring us through it. Devil Good By!
