I am working on a project to bring a more diverse face to our national parks. The absence of African Americans in our national parks has been widely publicized, to chage this, I created an event called the African Americans National Parks event. it is a day when African Americans across the country are encouraged to get out into our national parks. I am concurrently working on a project to retrace the trail the Buffalo Soldiers paved from the Presidio to Yosemite.
