Since 2022, Teresa Lines has held the position of deputy project manager, logistics manager and security supervisor for G4S Risk Consulting Limited, a security humanitarian team supporting the work of the FCDO. As well as managing the day-to-day running of the project, Ms Lines manages the welfare of the camp for various events, supports the FCDO by producing databases to ensure full compliance, and ensures the service levels delivered adhere to the team’s contracted terms and client SLAs.

Prior to her role at G4S Risk Consulting Limited, Terri Lines worked as a freelance close protection management operative, a freelance investigator management specialist and a freelance training manager. In the latter role, she leveraged her professional expertise to plan and provide training to Network Rail station incident officers across the UK and provided training on managing staff when dealing with potential incidents and the emergency services. She also evaluated the technical, non-technical and physical skills of Network Rail station incident officers in order to train them on how to adapt their skills when dealing with a major incident.

Ms Lines likes to keep fit and especially enjoys walking around her local area of Dorset and along the Scottish coast. She climbed to Everest Base Camp 2 in 2017 and since then has maintained a keen interest in the peak and its history. Located between Nepal and Tibet, Mount Everest stands 8,849 metres tall and is considered the highest point on Earth. The mountain’s name is Chomolungma in Tibetan, which means ‘Mother Goddess of the World’.
