Teresa Mbewe is a public health Proessional advancing adolescent and young women’s health through research, community engagement, and policy advocacy.
Her interest in health policy has grown through engaging and tracking negotiations at the UNFCCC and exploring how health systems, climate change and community resilience intersect. She has also contributed to discussions on health governance, and antiicrobial resisance strengthening her understanding of how global policies influence local health outcomes. During her tenure as President of AIESEC in Malawi, Teresa further developed her commitment to youth leadership by creating spaces for young people to develop skills, engage across borders, and contribute to solutions within their communities.
Teresa is building toward a future in global health research and policy, working to ensure that decisions affecting adolescent and young women are informed by evidence, community realities, and the voices of those most affected
