Teresa Michelle Thomas

I specialize in Program/Project and Business Management processes. I have 10 years experience working in acupuncture clinics and managing their operations.

As the founder of Thomas Management Services, I consult acupuncture practitioners on effective business procedures, optimal operations protocols, and insurance billing practices. I consult for new Acupuncturists and small/medium acupuncture clinics to help streamline and develop tools, as well as, assist in the development of information systems management tools for their business. While my focus is currently on Southern California, I plan to expand into the rest of California, Washington, Oregon, & Arizona.

I take pride in my ability to figure out most computer programs and effectively work on both Mac and PC platforms. I also function as the Business Manager at Natural Healing & Acupuncture in West Los Angeles.

I grew up in Monterey; a smallish town along the coast of Northern California. At times, I have found myself missing the gentle barking of the sea otters and hidden hiking trails in Big Sur. I have since lived in Phoenix, San Diego, Madrid, Fresno, and now Los Angeles.

I have an seemingly insatiable desire to know how things work. I adore a good jigsaw puzzle, a decent book (or 10), interesting podcasts, most board games, a well-concocted whiskey cocktail, and the perfectly balanced cider. I am never far from my Kindle and I have perfected how to find time to listen to audiobooks in everyday situations.

As a lifelong avid reader, I enjoy sharing that love with children. I also volunteer with a great organization, Reading to Kids, helping children in economically depressed Los Angeles neighborhoods develop their love of learning, books, and reading.

I love the Southern California lifestyle and enjoy spending my time hiking, camping, whiskey/wine tasting, playing beach volleyball, riding my bike, yoga, cooking, all things Harry Potter and reading mystery, adventure, & fantasy/sci-fi stories. I'm adventurous, outgoing, and very ambitious.
