Teresa Turiera-Puigbò

I am a freelance journalist based in Barcelona. Author of scripts and journalistic content, I am currently working on a TV Documentary on women that were victims of sexual violence during the war in the Balkans. 25 years later, has the war ended for them and the children born of these rapes?

The documentary is part of a verbatim theater project and a photo exhibition to be premiered in the fall of 2020. www.culturaiconflicte.org

Between 1989 and 2015 I worked at Catalunya Radio, as news editor, E.U. Affairs Correspondent in Brussels, Political editor in Madrid, and program director. I also collaborated with El País. I hold a Master in International Relations from the School of International and Public Affairs, ColumbiaUniversity, New York, and a Bachelor degree of Political Science and Information Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I has completed the dramaturgy courses "Write theater today" with Josep Mª Miró, "Five texts to understand the contemporary drama of the last five years" with Carles Batlle, "The fragmented portrait" with Frédéric Sonntag, and 'A theater for the present times. Ethics,aesthetics and politics of contemporary theater ',with Davide Carnevali at the Sala Beckett in Barcelona.
