teri lavelle
Western Suburb of Chicago
I am a reader who writes poetry, fiction, and literary essays. I am writer who runs marathons. I am a marathoner who writes about running.
I am a fifth generation San Francisco native. I now have the good fortune of being a part of the literary community of Chicago.
My poetry has been published in The College of DuPage's award winning literary journal, "The Prairie Light Review." I have submitted short stories to literary journals, and have almost completed my first novel. My writing blog is a forum to express my opinions on art, literature, and the literary process. You can find my writing blog at terilavelle.com.
For three years solid, I was the weekly blogger for The Glen Ellyn Runners' column, "Today's Run." With great joy, I now share my experience and research about running, marathoning, and high profile runners in my own blog at RunWriter.com.
