Dr. Terilyn J. Goins

Terilyn holds a doctorate in Communication Studies. She is an amazingly versatile communicator, able to adapt her talents, skills, and abilities to any audience, no matter how diverse. She has a way of reaching beyond audience limitations and meeting people where they are by creating a climate of non-judgmental acceptance. As a friend of hers (Joanne) once said, "Terilyn comforts the comfortless and uncomforts the comfortable." Perhaps more than anything, Terilyn is known for her ability to push people to meet their potential, to experience the positive aspects of life and sieze the opportunity to live life to its fullest. She serves as a life coach to her clients creating in them a desire to break through barriers and make a difference in the lives of others. One of her students (Trisha) said it perfectly when she said, "Dr. Goins, you make me want to be a better person than I am today."

Terilyn's work is multi-faceted and multi-layered. Regardless of the capacity in which she serves, Dr. Goins transcends boundaries, introduces innovative ways of thinking, provides opportunity for reflection, and inspires individuals to unleash the human spirit within that allows for life-changing possibilities.
