I enjoy life! It is to lived with gusto! I have lived overseas in such locations as Italy, Japan, Australia and Singapore. I was a freelance photographer for Greenpeace Australia. When I lived in Singapore, I witnessed the destruction of many old Malaysian/Chinese customs and traditions that lead me to my first major art exhibition, "Disappearing Asia: Singapore". Before my life took me to the South Pacific and Australia, I studied at Tulane University in New Orleans in the masters program of Architecture. I graduated from Mills College with a BA in Asian Art History. To find a way to open doors on the beauty and mystery of light and shade, which in turn produces the captured moment of time, is something I never tire of. My wish is that my children tumble happily into a life of interest, passion and fluidity that the art of photography has provided me. Besides my faith, children, family and friends, going on mission trips, there is no greater joy than the art of photography!
