Tero Sarkkinen is founder of Rightware, a company renowned for its user interface, graphic and performance measurement related products in mobile, consumer and automotive markets. Tero served 3 years as the company’s CEO from founding, including 18 month stint in Shanghai where he developed APAC operations for the company from scratch. Prior to founding Rightware, Mr. Sarkkinen was CEO of Futuremark Corp., a leading PC graphics benchmarking software provider. In 1999, he established Futuremark’s US subsidiary in Silicon Valley and managed the U.S. operations for 7 years.
Tero has dedicated himself in computer graphics technologies for over a decade and has become a distinguished person possessing a deep understanding of both technology and business issues of the industry. His specialties are intimate knowledge of hardware and software technologies and companies in North America, Europe and Asia. He also has a personal worldwide network of key people in smartphone, tablet and car manufacturers as well as the leading CPU and GPU companies.
Tero holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Aalto University Business School in Helsinki and has studied MBA courses at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, as well as completed executive programs at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
