Terrance Omar

Native Texan with a flare for all things creative. I've had a passion for arts and creativity since I was a young boy. I've been a photographer since age five.

I hail from the all-american college twin cities of Bryan-College Station in the heart of the Texas triangle, with close proximity to three of the nation's largest cities, and two of the fastest growing metropolitan areas. I attended Prairie View A&M University in the greater Houston region where I double majored in Architecture and Mass Communications.

Professionally I've worked in marketing and communications pretty much my entire professional life. In college I began my career managing marketing, and consumer relations for the on-campus food services provider. It was in that position I discovered my love for relationship building, and communications as a way to intertwine brands, besides I ate for free.

In 2010 I took a huge leap of faith, relocated from Houston north to Dallas-Fort Worth where I began working in digital strategy for a large healthcare research branch. During the same time I began my political consulting business, assisting candidates, and communities establish digital presence. I've been extremely blessed to work with some of the best and brightest people in their respective fields, and do what I love daily for a living.

My hobbies include spending time with my only nephew EL, hanging out with my friends, I'm a foodie addicted to street tacos, Whataburger, and sweets. I spend a lot of time attending various events, networking with other young professionals regionally, and nationally. I'm a photographer, and graphic artist so I love being intertwined in creative circles, and I am also huge in the faith-based creative community. I'm a huge mama's boy, or mama's man, I'm boy that unapologetically loves his mama, big brother and sister. Family is extremely important to me.

I love cooking, but absolutely hate cleaning up my kitchen, so needless to say I don't cook as much as I should. I also love getting out and exploring Dallas weather it be in my car, by bike, or rail since we have a pretty awesome light rail system here. I'm also a huge fixture on the public politics and journalist circles in BOTH Dallas, and Fort Worth which is extremely rare. I'm a fan of all teams Texas including; the Houston Texans, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Aggies, TCU Horned Frogs, Houston Rockets, and PV Panthers!
