Terrance McCormick was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He began his coaching journey as a high school state champion football player at Wallace Rose Hill High School (1994) in Wallace, North Carolina. He then became a Black College All-American and All-CIAA Conference football player at North Carolina Central University (1998-2000) in Durham, North Carolina. He played 4 years professionally in the in the Arena Football League (2001-2005). After his professional career ended Terrance trained professional athletes for 10 years as a personal trainer.
Terrance began coaching in 2012 as a Defensive Back Coach for the varsity football team at Warren County High School. In 2013-2014 he moved up in the ranks becoming the Defensive Coordinator. In 2015 Terrance was promoted and named Head Varsity Football Coach at Warren County High School.
As an educator Terrance is a teacher's assistant for the 8+ program at Warren County High School. He is currently enrolled in school at North Carolina Central University working on receiving his theacher's licensure.
