Terrance Wickman
A distinguished member of the adjunct faculty of Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas, since 1995, Terrance Wickman possesses a wide range of interests and specialties. A skilled sportsman, Terrance Wickman won the Iowa State Mixed Doubles Championship for Tennis in 1972 for Wahlert High School with Beth Zalinskus. He also holds knowledge about a number of weapons systems, arms management and qualified as a sharpshooter skilled with both rifles and 9 mm handguns.
Terrance Wickman earned recognition for his expertise in tennis as well as for his educational and instructional abilities. Selected to coach the Junior Tennis Team in the Paris Open in 2002 and the Sydney Open in 2004, Terrance Wickman participated in the All Army Tennis Team at West Point in 1975. Terrance Wickman also served as a Chairman of the National Veterans Wheelchair Games in Arlington, Texas, and functioned as Meet Director of the National Veteran’s Golden Age Games at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas in 1998.
Utilizing his military experience as a team leader and his role as an Education Coordinator, Terrance Wickman completed the Department of Veterans Affairs Leadership Development Institute (LDI) Program in 2008. In addition, Terrance Wickman graduated from the highly distinguished Visions of Excellence Program at the Dallas County Community College in 2010. Aside from his work with the VA and with Eastfield College, Terrance Wickman has supported the Phi Beta Kappa educational fraternity since 1991.
