Terrence Lowenberg
A Creative Eye for Business in New York
As co-founder and principal of Icon Realty Management, Terrence Lowenberg oversees the daily operations of the large real estate company in New York City. Responsible for a team of more than 50 people, over 100 buildings, and approximately 1,800 rental units across the five boroughs, Terrence Lowenberg is involved with construction, tenant relations, and community relations, as well as consideration of future expansion opportunities for the company.
This summer with his business partner Todd Cohen, Mr. Lowenberg purchased the 1850s-era Chelsea Pines Inn on behalf of Icon with plans to continue to manage the building as a boutique hotel. Furthermore, Icon filed plans this year to begin construction on a proposed 30-story building on Second Avenue. The plans are to create 63 new apartments and add more than 8,000 square feet of commercial space, along with a yoga studio, children’s play area, basketball court, tenant lounge, party room, and more.
