Terri McCortney
A resident of the Hancock Park area for over four decades, Terri McCortney serves as a multi-million dollar producer for Coldwell Banker Hancock Park North. A successful real estate agent serving the Los Angeles area, Ms. McCortney sells single homes, duplexes, and fourplexes to clients moving to the area. In particular, she concentrates on discovering buyers for Westside properties in Miracle Mile, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and Hollywood Hills.
Outside of her career in real estate, she assists the elderly in her community by driving them to important appointments and helping them with their errands and chores. A former docent with the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Griffith Park, Ms. McCortney continues to educate others about the importance of wildlife preservation. She has also belonged to Toastmasters International, a group that helps members improve their public speaking skills, and served as president of the group's local chapter for a period.
At home, Terri McCortney tends to her garden of heirloom tomatoes and other plants, and practices yoga for its physical and mental benefits. In her leisure time, Ms. McCortney enjoys reading, especially the Pulitzer Prize-winning To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Hawaii by James Michener. The latter novel discusses the history of the 50th state from its early history until the mid-1950s.
