About me! Hey everyone.... my name is Terrie L. Patterson.

I have lived in the Northern Virginia area pretty much all of my life. I know, wow, how exciting to meet a true native of the state ;-)

I love this area, the closeness to the ocean, plains, mountains, and city, you name it is usually within an hour to 2 hours drive.

My professional life...I am a Senior Technical Project Manager recently laid off by AOL after 12 long years! But don't get too sad for me as I found a great consulting gig very quickly and have been consulting for about 6 months and finding that it isn't half bad. My contract is with a major D.C. health insurance company working in their technology department managing the implementation of a new member services desktop application which will assist members when they call in regarding their member health benefits. This is just another path in life and we'll see what unfolds for me.

In the meantime, life is meant to be lived and I plan on taking full advantage. Terrie
