Terri Koen

I spent 12 years in advertising, both in account management and in account planning. My advertising career has taken me from San Francisco to New York and back to Austin with frequent visits to Chicago and Atlanta. During that time, I interviewed stakeholders, shopped along with customers, brainstormed with creatives, mapped out consumer journeys, penned brand positionings, explained blogging and social media to clients and co-workers alike, and most importantly, advocated for consumers at the development of every brand touchpoint and experience.

My love for yoga grew as a complement to the go-go-go, Type A working life of the agency world. While my foundational practice has been in ashtanga (very Type A) and vinyasa, I've learned to balance it with yin, restorative and meditation. I teach a slow-burning flow style of yoga and offer classes specific to corporate needs and working parents.
