Known professionally as "Tekkieteacher", I am the Director of Technology Integration and Curriculum Coordination for Wakefield School in The Plains, VA. Formerly a Social Studies teacher and IT Consultant, I worked many years as an Instructional Technology Coach for a large Virginia school district before assuming my current position. In 2014, I was honored to be elected as a member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE).
A Virginia native, I attended public school in Loudoun County and received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia (Wahoo-Wa!).
