Workshops
Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga Workshops incorporate Breathing and Meditation techniques with Slow~Movement and Self~Massage.

Below is an outline of the shape a session may take:

With 5~minute guided Meditations we begin by developing stillness in the body.
Through various Breathing techniques we become aware of our body on a more subtle level. We then draw on a wide range of Slow~Movement exercises followed by Self~Massage.

Slow~Movement is not unlike Kundalini Yoga in form, at a much slower pace.
Muscular patterns related to old injuries and/or acute tension melt down into pure somatic sensation & deep lingering relaxation.

Self~Massage is oriented towards sensitive and powerful pressure points, stimulating energy & releasing tension which may be blocked or held in the body. The breath is synchronised with the massage as we fully engage with the intuitive intelligence of our body. As physical tension melts away you may also experience the release of mental & emotional blockages.
Akin to acupressure, the distinguishing feature of Kum Nye is the slow release from deep pressure that continues to expand long after physical contact with that point.
