Dr. Terry Isom

The owner of a private endodontic practice in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Terry Isom grew up in Utah and Nevada. He graduated with honors from Eldorado High School in Las Vegas, which awarded him a Max C. Fleischmann Scholarship for academic excellence, and subsequently undertook undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. Dr. Terry Isom served two years as a full-time proselyting missionary with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and went on to enroll in the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry, where he earned his doctor of dental medicine (DMD).

After obtaining his DMD, Dr. Isom served as a captain with the United States Army Dental Corps, an associate professor in the Endodontology Department at OHSU, and head of endodontics at Willamette Dental Group. He has also served in leadership roles with multiple dental associations. In 2011, Dr. Terry Isom helped to treat approximately 2,000 patients in need through the Oregon Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy.
