Hi, I'm Terry Landon Stidham, currently living and working in Florence, Alabama, but my roots are firmly planted in Hamilton where I grew up. My father's a pastor and my mother's a nurse, and they've both instilled in me the values of service and faith, which I try to embody in everything I do. My brother is a special education teacher and coach, and he’s a big inspiration to me as well.
I graduated from Hamilton High School in 2017 where I was heavily involved in basketball until a knee injury in my senior year nearly ended my playing days. It was a tough time, but with determination and faith, I managed to recover and get back on the court to finish the season, which was a really formative experience for me.
After high school, I felt a calling to deepen my faith and leadership skills, so I attended the Ramp School of Ministry, graduating in 2021. I didn’t stop there; I continued my studies at the University of North Alabama, completing my undergraduate degree in 2024, and I’m currently enrolled in a master’s program there.
At UNA, I work as an intramural official, which allows me to merge my passion for sports with fostering community engagement among students. It’s a role I take seriously as it helps instill discipline, teamwork, and fairness among the student athletes—values that are important both on and off the field.
When I’m not on the court or hitting the books, I'm active in my local church, Underwood Baptist, and participate in Baptist Campus Ministries. My life’s pretty busy, but I believe in living my faith through service, and I find great satisfaction in helping guide others, whether it's through sports or spiritual growth.
