Terryl Bracey

Owner Terryl Bracey of the quaint T’s Barbershop in Ellenville NY, found a niche in creating the barbershop vibe outside the shop by launching a virtual online barbershop. Started with Clippers fuses fashion,art, music, gossip, and hair; just as one would experience in an actual good ol’ fashion barbershop. Bracey wanted to build a community that not only connects artists and the beauty world but a place of warmth identity; bringing backs memories to those who haven’t stepped a foot inside a barbershop in years!

Bracey started cutting hair at 13 years old and is self-taught; his personal journey through the beauty industry and making his way up the ranks is quite inspiring. Bracey loves to engage with the community, and so has been a guest speaker at several local schools. In his quest to connect entertainment, lifestyle, and artistry – Bracey has personally taken dozens of video interviews that are featured on Started with Clippers. Some of the talent he has interviewed include as Jay Majors, J. Alexander Martin, Troy Turner, Yandy Smith, DC Conley, Monique Leshman, Yancey Edwards, as well as many others.

Bracey is not only an entrepreneur at heart, but an artist himself. Besides the obvious skill of being a hair stylist, Bracey has also started a custom-made necklace line called TranquiliT. These necklaces are visually unique but are also very special to the owners themselves. Bracey interviews each customer to find out personal information and in turn artfully designs each piece. These necklaces have won the hearts of adults, children, and even celebrities.

Some of the site’s highlights are the introduction of local musicians, sharing local gossip and happenings, as well as showcasing the newest information in the beauty world including products and events.
