Terry Newmyer

Terry Newmyer is a business advisor, focused on helping aspiring business leaders implement their vision, particularly when they plan on achieving growth initiatives or philanthropy results.

After Terry received his Master's degree from Andrews University, he took on the role of Senior Vice President of Lakeland Regional Health System in St. Joseph, Michigan. While he was there, he was responsible for the company's marketing plans, communication, education, and foundation services.

He later moved on to a start-up consulting firm called KPMG LLP, National Strategy Practice in Dallas, Texas, where he started as a consultant and later became a partner. During his time there, the company's financial growth reached $10 million dollars in annual revenue.

As a Vice President and CEO, Terry Newmyer has had assignments that have spanned three different health systems. In each case, the organizations where Terry was involved experienced significant volume growth through the opening of new revenue streams.

One great passion of Terry Newmyer is fundraising; he is proud to have contributed to successful campaigns that have totaled over $250 million in wealth building from corporate alliances and community philanthropy. His experiences with sixteen 7-figure and larger community gifts, in addition to twenty-one corporate alliance sponsorships in the same size category, have helped remind Terry Newmyer of the inherent goodness and generosity in every person.

In 2013, Terry Newmyer left his position at St. Helena Hospital and returned to Florida to open a new business. His business, Strategies Now, Inc. located in Winter Park, Florida, is committed to helping aspiring leaders by applying the Tipping Point Research of Malcolm Gladwell. At this time, Terry serves as the Managing Director of Strategies Now, Inc, using his previous experiences in strategic planning, market reach, and philanthropy to assist his clients in implementing their vision and achieving significant results.
